I’ve been pondering this since I go back home and I think it’s time. My Kaya doggie can’t jump into the camper, nor up onto the bed because of her lack of foot and I’ve decided to buy a house ! I’ll get some other camper set up eventually – one that my gimpy dog can get into and onto the bed for snuggles. And with my wanderlust, this site and my adventure blog will continue. I bought my Four Wheel…

Bumps in the Road

Bumps in the Road

(Bryce Canyon National Park, UT) It’s not an adventure until something goes wrong, right? I’ve had difficulty with  my solar set-up for ages – almost since I got my camper. The place from where I originally got it didn’t figure it out, so I put up with not camping in one location for longer than a day or two in order for my power generating to keep up with my power use. Very soon after we arrived, I started feeling something I couldn’t describe. All I knew was that when I was outside I didn’t want to look directly at the gigantic mountains. They seemed unreal and I felt very disconnected from…

Small spaces

Small spaces

My Four Wheel Camper isn’t huge. It’s rather small inside, actually. Most of the time it works great for me and the dogs – they hang out up on the cab-over bed, and I do my cooking and computering or reading in the main area when inside. When I went on my previous no-destination adventure, I had this camper pretty set up for my daily needs. Just a few clothes, one storage container of food, only necessary cooking and kitchen…
